California Vacation 2003
This year's vacation took us to California in August. We planned it around our nephew Kevin's wedding and took a few side trips while along the way.
We started by
taking a few days to rest at Keith's parents house in Granada Hills. While there
we visited the Nethercutt
Museum in Sylmar. The Nethercutt Collection is a world class assemblage of antique automobiles and accessories. There are over 100 antique,
vintage and classic automobiles on display. We especially enjoyed the
collection of Lalique Crystal hood ornaments.

While taking it easy at home, we were able to catch a beautiful California sunset!

On Thursday, we had a clear day, so we took a few pictures of Mission Point and the Valley Views from the Porter Ranch area. Mission Point is part of the Santa Susana range on the north side of the San Fernando Valley.

On Friday it was time to head up north for the wedding! We decided to take the Pacific Coast Highway on the way up and stopped at several places along the way. It was a long and beautiful drive and well worth it!
