I didn’t know what to expect in the Big Apple in the way of Halloween decorations. I didn’t know if I would find lots of over the top or nothing at all.
I found pockets of both. The over the top decor was mostly in the neighborhoods where there were more houses. And those were neighborhoods that we were driving through so I couldn’t get any pictures.
Another thing that was interesting was where we have huge bins of pumpkins everywhere that was not the case here. In the little markets tucked in here and there you would find racks or crates of pumpkins and squash and other fall decor.
I was glad that I found the fall and Halloween spirit alive and well on our trip. Here are a few of the cute things I was able to capture in the city.
Simple Indian Corn makes a welcome fall statement.
Lots of fun at this place with the purple webbing.
Love the hands and heads poking through the shrubbery.
Love the glitter on the spider.
Almost missed this little guy in the corner.
And one of my favorites….simple white pumpkins. Elegant.
Enjoy!
