Do you use Instagram? Have you tried their new Stories feature? I have played with it a little in my feed. It is supposed to be similar to Snapchat (which I am not on) in that it allows you to post short videos and picture that are only there for twenty four hours and can only be seen by those that follow you. After the twenty four hours are up, they disappear from your feed. Oh, and they are only visible in the app, not online.
We just recently got back from a trip to California to visit Keith’s parents and it seems that Katie and Spencer were very glad we were back. Pixie and Dixie were too, it’s just that these new kids were extra lovey-dovey when we returned. But that did not stop them from playing with their favorite afghan. Since they were little Spencer has taken it from downstairs to upstairs and back again, dragging it along with his mouth. In fact, he had just dragged it off my legs on the couch when I started posting a few short videos and this picture to an Instagram Story.
The videos are only ten seconds each. But you can string along multiple videos into your story, along with pictures, too.
That is why these videos are so short. But they tell the Story of Katie and Spencer playing with the afghan together.
Katie likes to “root” in things like blankets and piles of clean clothes. She will bury herself and then wants to play. She has always done this and it is so cute to watch her do her thing. That is until she does it under the covers and finds your feet! Then she is not so cute and innocent as she changes to attack mode.
And since you are seeing these, that means that Instagram users do have the ability to save their Stories. Which is nice. I would hate to have only been able to view these two playing for just one day like this without being able to save it. I am not sure I totally get the hang of Stories yet, but I will experiment a little and see how it goes.
