There is something about the Golden Hour – that time when the sun is starting to set low in the sky and shadows can be at their strongest. In Fall it makes the garden come to life as it starts to go dormant for its winter slumber. I love how it brings out the crimson tinges on the dried Hydrangea flower heads. Their petals are like paper now and they are just as lovely as when they were a beautiful blue and full of life this Summer.
