Happy Friday! Its Day 16 of 25 Days of Christmas Wreaths from Colonial Williamsburg‘s 2015 Holiday Season here on the blog so that means I have more wreaths to share with you today.
Today I have a trio of wreaths from the John Crump House. They are simple, coordinate and have a theme, but I am not sure what the theme was. If you know, leave a note in the comments below. The wreath above has apples, lemons and oranges, a pomegranate, little whisk brooms and tiny little people. Oh and there’s a little bird woven out of dried grass hidden on the top.
This one features the same but also has more pieces of dried grasses and a lace church.
This one matches the first wreath. And it’s my favorite, but only because of the door it is on. I love those doors where the wood was set on the diagonal, like on this one. But I also like how the fruit adds color to the wreaths. They are simply done but still very pretty.
For more from Colonial Williamsburg come back tomorrow.
