Hello and Happy First Day of Winter! Today is Day 21 of 25 Days of Christmas Wreaths here on the blog. All month long I have been sharing wreaths from Colonial Williamsburg‘s 2015 Holiday Season and today I have some that are not the typical norm for the decorators in the historic district!
Earlier this month I shared a property that used Hamilton the Musical to theme their wreaths and I promised you that I would share another popular modern day theme with you, too. Well, today I am sharing the Star Wars themed house with you. You can read more about it here, I am just going to show you the wreaths today – which I must add are cleverly done. The one above is the famed Opening Credits. All the wreaths incorporate items that would be found in The Revolutionary City back in the day of the Colonial Capitol.
And here we have a tribute to Princess Leia. I mean really, those buns are famous and these are executed so well.
This one was of Chewbacca’s Bandolier.
And these are the finest eighteenth century Light Sabers I have ever seen!
This one however was my favorite – Yoda. So cute and so creative!
By the way, the year before this house had a Harry Potter theme – it was all about Hogwarts. And this year, it had another Harry Potter theme – something to do with Magical Beasts! It just goes to show you there is something for everyone during the holidays in the Colonial Capitol!
See you tomorrow for more wreaths and decor!
