Do you know that with the completion of this month’s Project Life 365 photo a day I am starting my fourth year of this daily habit?
I really, really love this way of preserving memories. I love to make scrapbooks but I always have more pictures and stories than I know what to do with or how to manage and this lets me at least have a year’s worth of memories, at least one for each day, to help tell the story of our family and what may be going on at any particular time. And most of the images are shared on Instagram. I may not always get to post, but I do save them into my Collect App so at the end of the month I can export them into the calendar grid. I do that in Letterglow and then I add extra elements with Rhonnadesigns or other image creating apps.
Really I guess what helped the most was when I got my first iPhone. It truly is amazing what power we hold in the palm of our hands. It is so much more than a phone and is such a huge part of our lives – Keith has one too!
Well, here’s to year four! It’s not too late for you to start documenting your story! I suggest giving this a try. It’s simple and you only need one photo a day, for 365 days – and then you have a year of memories quickly preserved. You will be surprised at the things you save as you look back through them.
How do you preserve memories and tell your story?
