It’s been a while since I have shared any Treasures with you. Treasures are what I call my yard sale or auction finds. Today Keith and I found an Estate Sale not far from the house and headed over to see if we could find any Treasures. And since it was an unseasonably warm February day, I think everyone in our little town had the same idea. This Estate Sale was wall to wall people. But we did manage to find a few new Treasures.
The first thing Keith spotted was this wrought iron fireplace grate against the driveway wall. We love finding these! We use them as flower boxes in the garden. And this one is in really good condition AND the price was right.
As soon as we walked in the door I found these Rhinestone pieces. They are in pretty good shape, some of the rhinestones are discolored and one was missing on the little pin on the bottom, but for the price they were asking, they were a steal, so I immediately scooped them up.
Keith found these for just 50 cents each, so he grabbed them to add to my collection of vintage flower frogs.
And I found these vintage silver-plate serving pieces for a steal and picked them up for Keith. He uses them as clappers in the wind chimes that he makes from old silverware. We had a really good day at this Estate Sale. I just wish it hadn’t been so crowded, but it’s been a while since we found some nice Treasures and we really needed to get out and enjoy the hunt again.
