Yesterday I posted a picture of a pretty winter sunrise. When I came home from work, we had a couple of inches of snow on the ground. I quickly snapped a few pictures with my phone. This snow was nothing like the weekend before. This snow was light and fluffy and just enough to silence the world for a moment.
It seems time stands still when it snows. This is a favorite piece in our garden. In the summer, it is in front of large hydrangea bushes with pink, purple and blue blooms.
This is another favorite area in the garden, my wisteria arch. Keith built the Celtic Cross years ago and behind it are my pink camellia bushes.
We had a visitor on the carport. Our neighbor’s cat Squirt is the new high cat of the cul-de-sac. She makes her rounds through the yards on a daily basis. Today we could see she had been checking out the woodpile on the carport.
Here is a cool cat on our kitchen porch. We picked him up in South Carolina at a favorite garden shop in Murrells Inlet. The snow made him look almost mad.
Lastly, here is our little snow angel. He sits in the garden by our kitchen underneath the wisteria there. It was a pretty snow. It is gone today, but I enjoyed it while it was here.
