Socially Speaking

So, last week I was reading about a new tool on the blog Carrie Loves that allows you to share your social media posts on your blog. The tool is called Tint and right now you can use it for free to create an add in on your blog for supported social media like Twitter or Instagram. I went ahead and set up a new page called Socially Speaking to highlight my social media accounts.

Now, if you click on the Socially Speaking link on my blog, you will see what I have currently tweeted or posted to Instagram.

It will change just like my Pinterest feed on the home page of the blog as I am active. And you can click on what you want and it will take you to the original item. I think it’s a really great way to check out what is going on all in one spot. You don’t have to look in several places unless you want to explore more in depth.

The site is fairly easy to use and covers more social media than what I have here. Also, you can create code for many different kinds of blogs, such as WordPress, Blogger, Tumbler or just simple HTML that you add yourself. I also created a widget for my main page under my Pinterest feed, so you can see it in action there, too. I may remove that if it becomes to busy since I have an entire page dedicated to this.
