I told you that Saturday we went to Roanoke’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. And I told you that I had tons of photos since there was so much to see. One thing I have noticed that seems to be a growing trend is men in kilts. Never realized there were so many Irish and Scottish fellas in Roanoke, but every year they come to the parade and wear their kilts. And these are not just the members of the different bagpipe bands. Many of these men just appear to be showing off their heritage or their knees, not sure which. You be the judge!
This last picture is of my friend June’s Pastor Brent. He and his family were walking together actually, he is holding the dog’s water bowl. I fugured they would kind of take away from my theme here, but I wanted you to know that there were also kids and women in kilts, too!
