For those of you with kids and Easter Baskets, just like at Halloween, I bet you have candy galore, including a possible overabundance of Peeps. And just in case you can’t think of anything to do with them (other than eat them) I thought I would share a few ideas I found on Pinterest of alternatives for using up your Peeps. Clicking on the image should take you to the site.
Why not have some Peep Push Pops? With Cupcakes? And Frosting? Dare I ask if you need any more sugar?
Or how about Cake Batter Candy with Peeps?
Unfortunately these cute litte Peeps Nests didn’t have a good link on Pinterest. If I find it Iwill update, but I think if you can make Rice Krispie Treats, you can make these without any problems.
These Crispy Bunny Treats look easy, too. The secret is freezing the Peeps before you push them into the Rice Krispie Treats.
Peeps on a Stick anyone? Kind of like little sugary shish-ka-bobs! No grilling required, unless you add the ingredients below.
And who doesn’t love Smores? Peeps will give these yummy treats a hint of spring color.
You know, Peeps are not just for eating, either!
What’s not to love about this cute little Peep Wreath? Puts me in a Springy mood, for sure!
Or you could make a bouquet of Peeps to give to someone this week.
Now is always a good time to find potted bulbs, and they may even be on sale right now, so why not use Peeps to make filler for bulb arrangements?
And Pink Gerber Daisies paired with Pink Peep Bunnies? Love, love, love.
Just a few different ideas on what you can do with your plethora of Peeps this Easter. All I am saying is give Peeps a chance!
