Last week I shared some kuler inspiration with you via an action from the Coffee Shop Blog. Well, now I find there is a kuler app! I have been having a lot of fun playing with it this week.
We have this hydrangea bush that always has three different color blooms every year: pink, blue and purple. I know they take on color based on what is in the soil around them, I just find it odd that the same bush has so much variety.
Here is the blue version. The kuler app has presets to pick color palettes from the image that you take with the app or from images on your phone. You can choose different moods from the same image or customize your selections. You can then upload them to the Adobe kuler site. To make these post images I used a combination of three different apps: kuler, Framatic Pro and Phonto.
I used Framatic Pro to combine the flower image and a screenshot image from my kuler account. Then I added text with Phonto before I uploaded them to Instagram. I think this will be a great way to create color inspiration. Mother Nature does know what colors look best side by side.
What combinations can you come up with and where will you find inspiration?
