Saturday we went to Bristol, TN to visit friends and attend a special birthday party. We left a little early so that we could visit State Street and maybe hit an antique shop or two. We are always looking to add to our many collections and we are also looking for a stepback cupboard for our dining room. It was funny, on the way down I joked to Keith that since we did not bring the truck we would probably find a cupboard or something big. Well, guess what happened?

We didn’t find a complete stepback, but we found the top cabinet part of one. And it was the perfect size and price and I knew it would match one we got last year AND we could put our yelloware collection in it. Four out of four is a homerun in my book. The bonus was it actually fit in the Tribeca, so I felt like it was a grand slam homerun! We got it home, cleaned it up and then Keith started arranging.

And you know what else? The whole bottom shelf is empty. That means we can find a few more pieces to add to our collection! That’s extremely exciting…cannot wait to see what we can find to fill that shelf! And yes, those are my legs reflecting in the glass, can you say photo bomb?
