Keith has a wonderful habit of unexpectedly cutting flowers from the garden to share with me. Today I came home from work and he had cleaned the deck and carport and left these beautiful hydrangeas on the carport for me to enjoy.
Unfortunately, we cannot have flowers in the house anymore. Seems all of our little girls think that flowers are for eating and vases are for knocking over. If I bring home an arrangement, it has to be in a basket if I don’t want broken glass or water everywhere. I still end up with chewed on petals and leaves, though.
So, a couple of years ago, Keith started the habit of putting the arrangements from the garden on the carport. We can enjoy them without Stormie, Pixie and Dixie thinking Daddy has brought in a new play toy.
Our hydrangeas this year are amazing. We can enjoy their beauty as we sit on the carport in the morning and every time we go out the kitchen door. Keith sure is thoughtful!
