Sorry, but I just could not resist. Here in Virginia deer hunting season just started, and I thought that title might be appropriate for the season, but I did not want to offend anyone either so I added the second part to kind of put a disclaimer out there that this post would not be about hunting with a shot gun but rather it is about hunting with a camera. I have told you before that we have deer that visit our yard and we even have had babies born in our yard. Now we can share our Buck with you thanks to Keith.
Yesterday evening at work as I was wrapping things up trying to get out of the office Keith called and asked where my camera was. He said there was a young Buck in our yard down in the garden. He said he might try to get its picture.
It was getting dark, so I wasn’t sure if he would be able to get any good pictures from the house or not. We don’t usually go out in the yard when they are in the yard for fear of spooking them and having them possibly run into the road and get hit, so we watch them from the windows.
Well, as you can see, Keith was able to get quite a few good shots of young Buck last night. He sure is pretty, wish I could have seen him. We see the deer quite often, we just don’t always take pictures since it happens so frequently now.
I don’t know if I will really ever get used to seeing this many deer in our yard. I just still really don’t expect them to be here so close into town. He sure is a magnificent creature. I am so glad that Keith took these so I could see our newest visitor.

This is exactly the kind of shooting I love to see and hear about. Kudos to Keith!
