Last week with the snow from Pax the Bluebirds seemed to stand out more than usual. And they were out in droves, too. We keep suet feeders full for them and the Downy Woodpeckers all year long. And occasionally I get lucky and I am able to get a good shot of one of them waiting to feed.
I captured this little fella from our dining room, looking through our door. He was waiting in the dogwood tree for his turn. I have to be careful not to move to quickly or I scare them away. They have wonderful vision. Sometimes there will be three or four of them waiting in the branches. But today I was happy with just the one that I was able to capture on film. Isn’t he handsome?
