My Mom took this picture of “The Pixinator” while she was here over Memorial Day. That is a nickname that we have for Pixie. She is our alpha cat and has been pretty much all of her life. She has to know everything that is going on and she is usually the one that wakes us up in the middle of the night when she is fighting with other cats through the sliding glass doors. Or the racoons. One morning after one of her escapades, we found racoon prints on the outside of the sliding glass door. Pixie is fearless.
Mom took this one while we were outside, and Pixie was taking a break from “digging” on the glass door. For some reason, she and her sister Dixie have this strange habit of “digging” where they just run their little paws over the glass again and again like they are trying to dig their way outside. They will sit there for minutes at a time, or as in this case stand and dig for minutes at a time.
As you can see by the look on Pixie’s face, she clearly was not happy that everyone was outside and she was stuck inside. I love how Mom captured her little pink paw resting on the glass. And her intent gaze. Pixie definitely is a character!
