Saturday was a beautiful spring day and the flowers in the garden were screaming to be photographed. I quickly snapped some pictures with my phone to share. We are so ready for spring here. And these bulbs make me so happy when I see them!
We have several colors of Lenten Roses blooming, but I love the color of this one.
It really is beautiful.
And they hyacinths are starting to pop up everywhere. Like these grape hyacinths by the back deck.
And these hot pink hyacinths under the Magnolia Tree.
And these dark purple hyacinths will be so fragrant when they are all open. We have quite a large collection by the front garden path.
And the daffodils are so pretty right now.
Love these!
And to think, Keith rescued these from under our deck. We built a deck when we first moved in, not knowing they were there. When they came up through the boards he carefully unscrewed the boards and dug them up and moved them around front.
But these little pink gems are a real treat each year. They don’t bloom very long and sometimes I miss getting a picture of them.
So delicate!
These pale pink gems are called Glory of the Snow!
I understand why they are called this after the winter we have had.
Aren’t they just wonderful?
I cannot wait for the rest of their friends to join them and start blooming!
