Today’s list from the list of lists I am using is supposed to be Favorite Style Icons. Hmm…for those of you that know me, I am not a fashionista. I love comfy clothes, don’t care what is in style and don’t follow trends. I don’t even set trends. So, I changed the list to be What I Like to Wear. And for those of you that know these lists regularly run each Sunday, I am changing up just for this week so that I can share some wonderful Easter Quotes with you along with pictures of flowers from my garden. I will get back to the regular Sunday posts after Easter.
- Old Levi Jeans – currently I have two pair that are 7 years old and counting – they are my go to
- Dockers (crops, pants and shorts)
- T shirts – Mostly just the generic with something printed on them, but I also have a few favorites form Anne Taylor Loft, Coldwater Creek, Chaps
- Sweaters – have some favorites from Coldwater Creek and Eddie Bauer
- Worthington Dress Pants for Work
- White Mountain Shoes – clogs, mules, you name it, they are comfy, even their dressy sandals
- Flip Flops – oh, I have at least a couple dozen pair, usually cannot go into Sam’s without getting another pair of Speedo’s
- As for colors – I like Black – I think everyone looks good in Black and that it is one of the most forgiving colors – and everything goes with it. I also wear a lot of Brown.
- Kohl’s has a few brands that I love – Sonoma life + style, Chaps, Dana Buchman and Apt 9
- Not a big purse carrier (thank goodness – my weakness is shoes, so Keith doesn’t have that obsession to worry about) I currently use one from Janine King and I have another favorite that was handmade by my friend Betsy
- Nine West and Aerosole Shoes for Work – Skechers and Clarks for casual
- Jewelry – for someone that is not a fashionista this is kind of not what you would expect but I do like to wear the jewelry that I make along with some from Anne Vaugahn and Silpada – and of course, any time Keith gives me Rubies and Diamonds (which I wear every day on my fingers) they will be a favorite
