On a recent weekend I took some pictures of the many busy little pollinators working the coneflowers out front. I love having bees in the garden. They work so tirelessly it seems. I love how some of them can get covered in pollen. I am fascinated at how they go from one flower to the next, spreading the pollen around the garden.
And on this day, I captured several shots of more than one type of bee on the same coneflower at the same time. Even three at once. And no one seemed to mind that the other was there, they were all focused on gathering more pollen.
I will always welcome the little workers to our yard, since they help make it an enjoyable and beautiful place to be.
