Ok, I finally finished uploading the info to my shop on Etsy for the last of the “newest” batch of jewelry. It will probably be a while before I get around to adding more. Some days it seems it takes just as long to photograph the jewelry, edit the pictures to make sure that they are clear and not too large and then upload them to Etsy and post the pertinent info….you get the drift. It’s not instant or magical for me. It takes time and effort. But I want people to be able to see the best possible image of the jewelry that I make since buying from a picture is not the same as being able to see it in person, feel the weight of the piece or even try it on beforehand.
This is another necklace made using a vintage brooch as a pendant. Keith and I found this one earlier this spring at an antiques show. I love the bold ruby rhinestones as the center of the flowers.
This necklace is all about fun. It reminds me of girlie princess meets summer sundress. I have had the purple crazy lace agate beads for a while and several times have brought them out but never could visualize what to do with them until this past weekend when I paired them with the pink rhodonite.
The matching earrings are lighter than air, which is the opposite of the chunkiness of the necklace.
This little gem is my first attempt at wire wrapping teardrop shaped beads to form a flower. I like how it turned out and it is a favorite of mine. The flower is under 2″ so it does not stick out or feel out of place. It’s a fun necklace to wear.
