I shared with you earlier this week some jewelry that I had made recently. Today I want to share a few more pieces made with green banded agate that I got at a gem show last Thanksgiving with my Mom.

I found this large round bead that I thought would make a nice pendant.

It has some brown and white bands in it and I love how it was cut and drilled with the bands on an angle.

I mixed it with a brass chain and a strand of faceted banded agate and brass filigree beads.

If you look closely you can see my iPhone’s reflection. It really is a pretty stone.
It has a brass toggle clasp.

And matching earrings.

I also found a rectangular stone from the same vendor and made a similar necklace using it as a pendant. This necklace has a longer drop than the first necklace.

It also uses a brass chain and brass elements.

Like this Vintaj Fairy. I think it goes perfectly with the green. This color reminds me of Spring and the woods and forests coming to life. And everyone knows that is where the fairies dwell!

And again, this stone was cut and drilled so that the bands were on a diagonal, which I really like.

It has a brass lobster claw clasp.

And matching earrings made with Vintaj Brass connectors.

It was fun designing these two pieces. I have worn them both already and cannot decide if I am ready to sell them yet or not. That is one of the fun things about this hobby, I can create lots of pretty pieces that I can wear for a while before I part with them, if I decide to part with them.
