There are a few blogs that I follow regularly, all for the inspiring content, be it antiquing hunts, great recipes, scrapbooking and paper crafts, photograhpy tips…you name it. It’s a great way to learn about new things, see new ways to do something and just realize that others out there share the same passion for crafting and creating like me.
One of those blogs is Inspired by Charm. On one of the recent posts there, Michael talked about a challenge he participated in last year from a blog by The Nester. The challenge is to write a post every day in October. This year’s challenge, 31 Days in October has been put out there to anyone that has a blog as inspiration to write in October. The catch is, you have to write about one topic for 31 days. Hmmm….
Well, that is something that I have not accomplished so far in my blog. There are a few weeks where I may have something posted for every day and then a few skipped days, but not an entire month of posts. This would be a challenge for me indeed. Then there is the catch, you have to blog about a single topic. So, that makes it more of a challenge.
That made me start thinking. October to me is Halloween. But October is also when I think of Fall the most. Halloween would be easy, but so would Fall. Then it hit me! Why not take a page of inspiration from my Pinterest board, Falloween!~ To me, Halloween and Fall go hand in hand anyway and I think this might be easier for me to accomplish. Remember, this for me is still a huge challenge. My blog is not even a year old and I am still learning the ropes and getting into the hang of this.
So, Falloween it will be. 31 Days of Falloween! I even created a little logo for the blogs so that I can connect them to my common theme.
Wish me luck that I can complete this challenge. I may not have an elegantly written post every day, but I do hope to have 31 days of fun, inspiring blogs for October. Game On!
