Happy Holidays and welcome to Day 10 of 25 Days of Christmas Wreaths! All of the wreaths I am sharing with you this month are from Colonial Williamsburg‘s 2015 Holiday Season and today I want to share some themed wreaths with you!
Many of the homes and buildings in Colonial Williamsburg will have a theme for their decorations and in 2015 the Charlton House used Hamilton the Musical for its theme. All the wreaths had something to do with the musical. The one above featured the Marquis de Lafayette. All of the wreaths have things in common, such as the slate tiles and the silhouettes of their character from the musical.
The next wreath was for Aaron Burr.
The wreath on the door was for Alexander Hamilton himself.
There was a wreath for Eliza Hamilton, too.
And lastly, a wreath for Hercules Mulligan. This was a really clever theme to include history and some modern day elements. Coming up later this month I will show you another house with a modern day theme.
Stay tuned for that one!
