Things I love about fall:
- Crisp Air – if you live in the south and have humidity filled summers, you know exactly what I mean
- Being able to wear a sweater or jacket, not because you are freezing, but because it is cozy
- Autumn colors in the leaves against a crystal clear blue sky
- Pumpkins and gourds
- Halloween
- Apple Harvests
- Mums
- Watching the Squirrels stockpile nuts for winter
- Walks in the woods
- Sitting outside without having to worry about mosquitos
- Hot Apple Cider and Apple Pie
- Hayrides
- Bittersweet – I love when our berries pop – the Mockingbirds, Cardinals, Cat Birds and Bluebirds all fight over them
- Red leaves of Dogwoods, Burning Bushes or Virginia Creeper
