Have you heard about One Little Word? If you follow scrapbookers and bloggers, you will find that many of them use One Little Word each year to guide them throughout the year. And I am sure a lot of other people use OLW, too, but I found out about it through Ali Edwards.
Last year my word was Opportunity. It was a good word for me. I took lots of Opportunities and made them happen. Opportunities to do new things, travel, make commitments and keep them, just to name a few. And of course I created an inspiration board full of quotes about Opportunity on Pinterest.

This year I had a harder time choosing my word. I really liked Opportunity. I spent a lot of time thinking about words the last couple of months. Finally, it came to me…Learn. I think this is another good word for me and I look forward to using it this year to guide me in my life. Below is my inspiration board on Pinterest.

I looked up the definition of many of the words I thought about for this year and when I came to learn, I knew it was a good choice. below is the definition from Dictionary.com.

“to learn French; to learn to ski.”2.to become informed of or acquainted with; ascertain:

I think learn can apply to a lot of things this year for me. I can learn new things, I can learn from mistakes, I can learn to be an example to others, I can learn more about myself and learn how to improve myself.
So, I am excited about my One Little Word for 2015…Learn. What is your OLW for 2015?
