I have been busy. I got inspired this weekend and made some really cute Fall Hashtag Picture Tags that I added to my Etsy Shop.

I got the idea from one of Rhonna Farrer’s Creativity Exercise Periscopes and it has just snowballed. I have lots of other ideas in the works and on the way. I love sharing pictures on Instagram and I often use her app to add fun elements to my pictures that I post there.
I posted this image yesterday with a fun southern Fall Saying, Happy Fall Y’all. And yup, this one will be coming to my Etsy shop soon, along with some Halloween designs I am also working on. And it is really easy to use these .png file overlays with images that you take on your phone. You save the image to the cloud (like Dropbox) or download to your phone and use an app like Letterglow to overlay on your image. Oh, and Cathy Zielske has a great tutorial here for that.
What you get are twelve .png files (one light and one dark of each of six designs) that you can overlay on your images. They are 300 ppi, so they are great to print on full size images. They measure approximately 4 by 5 at that resolution and have transparent backgrounds so they can overlay without any issues.

Above is an example of how one of the light files works on an image with a darker background. These are designed to align at the top of your image, so there is no border along the top. They can be resized to fit smaller images, like I did on my Instagram photo.

And here is the dark version of the Happy Fall Y’all Picture Tag (that will be coming soon, I promise!) They work just like plastic overlays would if you were working with real scrapbooking products. And since these are digital, they can be used again and again and again. That’s a great bargain for just $2!
Look for more of these to come to my Etsy Shop and I will showcase them on Instagram throughout the Fall Season.
